 Lecithin is a predecessor of acetylcholine and the main constituent of myelin sheath of brain and nervous fibers (17% of peripheral nervous system and 30% of brain).

Lecithin quickens oxidation processes, provides normal lipid metabolism, improves the work of cerebral and cardiovascular systems, assists in vitamins A, D, E and K absorption, increases body resistance towards action of toxic agents, stimulates cholepoiesis, formation of erythrocytes and hemoglobin.

The main components of lecithin are choline and inositol, which belong to B-vitamins and are essential in support of cholesterol balance, nervous and cardio-vascular systems health. Choline is essential for hormone synthesis, acethilcholine formation, which is the essential neuromediator. Inositol is essential for functioning and growth of nervous cells, brainwork, liver functions, pancreatic gland, and crystalline lens.
