Aborigines were first to find out about the healing properties of emu oil. According to legend for hundreds of years they used emu oil on all occasions. It was universal – it healed absolutely everything: fresh wounds, burns, insect bites, joint pains, and skin diseases.

Emu oil is a highly concentrated product produced by means of extracting and fractionating. It is quickly absorbed and does not leave fat markings.

Anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties of emu oil are stipulated by its composition. It contains 70% fatty acids, which are referred to as unsaturated ones. Emu oil is rich in α-linolenic acid – a substance known by its healing action for muscle and joint pains, and also in oleic acid, producing local anti-inflammatory effects. Prostaglandins received from α-linolenic acid relieve pain, reduce swelling and inflammation.

Emu oil is a natural and effective moisturizer, possessing high biological activity. It has a unique property to be absorbed quickly and penetrate into the deep skin layers due to the predominance of oleic acid within its composition.
