 This product comes from a wonderful plant – Peruvian perennial scandent liana Uncaria tomentosa. It is called “cat’s claw” because of its structure peculiarities and character. It has thorns looking like cat’s claws, with which it clutches the branches of other plants. It grows only in one place on Earth – in the Amazonian forests of the Peruvian plateau. The lifeline of liana is about 20-30 years, and can reach 40 meters in length.

Ancient Indians used this plant bark for tea, which strengthened the body and combats poisonings and different infections. It was discovered that local Peruvians almost never die from cancer.

The active ingredient, which determines the unique properties of the plant and its powerful immune-modulatory effect, is the group of oxyindole alkaloids, particularly, ptheropodin and isoptheropodin, which exponentially activates the immune, first by phagocytic cells of T- lymphocytes system, especially T-killers, which normalize antibodies level in blood serum.
