This combination works as a diuretic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agent for kidney diseases and infections of the urinary tract, and it lowers the level of cholesterol in blood. It improves kidney capillary penetrability. It can be used for arthritis,  gout, and edemas.

Alfalfa purifies blood and assists in nutrients absorption. It is rich in proteins and microelements, vitamins A, D, K, and B-group. It possesses explicit anti-inflammatory action.

Uva ursi (bearberry) has antiseptic effect for the  kidney, urinary bladder and urinary tract diseases, and also has a soft diuretic effect.

The leaves contain organic acids (formic, chinic and malic acids), essential oil, triterpenoids, vitamin C, phenols and their derivatives (arbutin, hydroquinone and others), tannins, flavonoids and anthocyanins. Antimicrobial qualities of uva ursi are related to arbutin and methylarbutin. These agents under the influence of enzymes detach hydroquinone, which possesses antiseptic effect.

Barosma betulina leaves contain 1% of essential oil, rich in diosphenol; and flavonoids, tarry and bitters, gum, and rutin. It is used as a diuretic for infection diseases of the urinary tract.

Parsley root is especially effective for kidney and urinary bladder diseases. The root of this traditional spice contains a great amount of vitamin C, carotene, folic acid, flavonoids, and tocopherol. The plant possesses diuretic, choleretic, spasmolytic, desintoxicational and antiseptic properties. Parsley is used as a diuretic for kidney and cardio-vascular diseases accompanied by edemas.

Corn Silk stiles produce diuretic effects; possess anti-inflammatory and choleretic effects. They reduce irritations in the urinary tract. They are indicated for urinary tract diseases, edemas of cardiologic origin, liver and bile-excreting tract diseases: cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis. with long-term usage corn silk stiles assist in phosphate calculuses dilution in kidneys and urinary bladder.

Juniper is a powerful antiseptic; one hectare of it evaporates 30 kg of phytonzydes per day (it is enough to purify the atmosphere of a big city from malignant bacterium). Juniper fruits disinfect the urinary tract and increases urine excretion.
